Marketing, Sponsorship, & Advertising Opportunities

  • Underwriting spots are 15 second (typically pre-recorded) on air spots that include company name, location, goods and/or services provided and contact information. Basic underwriting packages (See Packages A, B, C, D) run for a period of 15 weeks. Short run time and custom packages are available.

    • 6 spots per day airing between 6am and midnight for a period of 15 weeks
    • 630 total spots

    • 4 spots per day airing between 6am and midnight for a period of 15 weeks
    • 420 total spots

    •  4 spots per day airing between 2pm and 10pm (Prime-Time) for a period of 15 weeks

    • 2 spots per day airing between 2pm and 10pm (Prime-Time) for a period of 15 weeks

    SHORT RUN TIME UNDERWRITING OPTIONS

  • PACKAGE G: SPONSOR A SPECIALTY SHOW

    A specialty show is a 2-hour show featuring a specific genre or theme separate from regular KTSW programming. Specialty shows usually air one time per week, most of which air during Prime Air-Time (2:00pm – 10:00pm) for 13 weeks (one quarter).

    • 2 produced, 15 second sponsorship announcements per show
    • Mention of sponsorship in specialty show’s produced promo, airs 3 times/day, 7 days/week
    • Total mentions per week: 25
    PACKAGE H: SPONSOR OTHER SIDE DRIVE
     
    Other Side Drive is a variety style afternoon drive time show with everything from music, news, sports, interviews, live in-studio performances, fun featurettes, and more. During the Spring and Fall semesters, Other Side Drive airs every Monday through Friday from 4:00 – 6:00pm for 13 week periods (one quarter). During the summer semester, Other Side Drive airs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 – 6:00pm.

    • Other Side Drive airs 5 days per week
    • 1 live, on-air sponsorship announcement per show
    • 1 produced, 15 second sponsorship announcement per show

    SUMMER OTHER SIDE DRIVE SPONSORSHIP OPTION
    • Other Side Drive airs 2 days per week
    • 1 live, on-air sponsorship announcement per show
    • 1 produced, 15 second sponsorship announcement per show
    • Mention of sponsorship in Other Side Drive’s produced promo, airs 3 times/day, 7 days/week

    PACKAGE I: SPONSOR A SYNDICATED SHOW
    • Mention of sponsorship on syndicated show's promo which airs 2 times/day 7 days/week for a period of 15 weeks
    • 210 total spots
    • Website banner on the KTSW Sponsor's Page, the sponsor added into the wheel at the top right of the KTSW webpage and listed under the sponsored syndicated program on the syndicated program page.
  • CROSS-PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

     
    KTSW hosts several events throughout the year, both on and off campus, from live music events to tailgates and we are always looking for new and innovative events to participate in. There are a variety of ways your company can benefit from working in conjunction with KTSW at events such as poster distribution, handbills, media sponsorships, on-site event promotions, etc. Contact KTSW’s Promotions Director at ktswpromotions@txstate.edu for more information on customized cross-promotional marketing strategies.
     
  • TEXAS STATE BOBCAT FOOTBALL

    • 12 games broadcasted during the regular 2020/2021 season Includes two 15-second produced sponsorship announcements per game at a minimum.
    • Includes 2 live, on-air mentions of sponsorship during each game. Sponsorship mention on all Bobcat Football Broadcast promos Banner Ad featured on KTSW’s Sports page and subpages linkable to sponsor’s website.
    • Package purchase allows for discount buy on broadcasted playoff games. Playoff game broadcast sponsorships include everything listed above as well as an extension on any website ads for the length of the playoffs.

    TEXAS STATE BOBCAT MEN’S & WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

    • Approximately 40-45 games per season. Games may be on-air or internet only Includes two 15-second produced sponsorship announcements per game.
    • Includes 2 live, on-air mentions of sponsorship during each game. Sponsorship mention on all Bobcat Basketball Broadcast promos.
    • Package purchase allows for discount buy on post-season tournament games. Tournament game sponsorships include everything listed above as well as an extension on any website ads for the length of the playoffs

    TEXAS STATE BOBCAT BASEBALL & SOFTBALL

    • Approximately 50-55 games per season. Games may be on-air or internet only Includes two 15-second produced sponsorship announcements per game.
    • Includes 2 live, on-air mentions of sponsorship during each game. Sponsorship mention on all Bobcat Baseball or Softball Broadcast promos Banner Ad featured on KTSW’s Sports page and subpages linkable to sponsor’s website.
    • Package purchase allows for discount buy on post-season tournament games. Tournament game sponsorships include everything listed above as well as an extension on any website ads for the length of the playoffs

    BOBCAT RADIO

    • Bobcat Radio airs 3 times per week for a period of 13 weeks (one quarter)
    • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 11:00am - 12:00pm
    • 1 live, on-air sponsorship announcement per show
    • 1 produced, 15 second sponsorship announcement per show
    • Mention of sponsorship in Bobcat Radio’s produced promo, airs 3 times/day, 7 days/week
    • Total of 52 sponsorship announcements and 273 sponsorship mentions via Bobcat Radio promo

    SAN MARCOS HIGH SCHOOL RATTLER FOOTBALL

    • 10 games broadcasted during the regular season Includes two 15-second produced sponsorship announcements per game at a minimum.
    • Includes 2 live, on-air mentions of sponsorship during each game. Sponsorship mention on all Rattler Football Broadcast promos
    • Package purchase allows for discount buy on playoff games. Playoff game sponsorships include everything listed above as well as an extension on any website ads for the length of the playoffs
