No, KTSW is an educational facility. We know that college radio is about learning and we're here to help you gain valuable skills and knowledge.
-
Do I get paid?
General staff positions are volunteer positions that are unpaid. Many of our entry-level positions are volunteers who enjoy what they do. Some positions do offer a form of payment through commission, stipend, or logging hours. But experience is a form of payment, right?

What is KTSW looking for?
A team of individuals who take a look on the other side of things. We hope that you will take advantage of the experience you can gain here. We look for creativity, curiosity, humor, unique personalities and someone who is willing to take us out for dinner and a movie.

How many hours am I required to commit to KTSW?
Each department and position varies on time commitments, so it is up to you to decide how much time you're willing to offer. With that being stated, certain departments will require more hours than others.
-
Is there training involved?
Yes. Before every new semester begins, we have panel sessions to welcome and orient you into our station. From there, training will begin and vary for each department.
