El-p is one of those artists that will make you a fan of underground hip-hop music as listen to this album. Cure 4 Cancer (C4C) truly delivers and reminds the listeners what this genre is about, and leaves out all the propaganda, and media out. Songs like “$4 Vic/Nothing but you + me (FTL)”, Request Denied”, “True Story”, just seem to bring back life into this genre as you crank up the volume. The sounds are amazing with the mixture of beats and its unique sound that feels like a sci-fi movie. The lyrics are hard to catch because El-p’s flow is too fast to capture, but that is not a problem since it sounds good anyway.
