Brendon Small’s “Galaktikon” is an exploration of galactic soundscapes and intricate guitar parts. More widely known for his work on the animated series “Home Movies” and “Metalocalypse,” “Galaktikon” shows the variety in Small’s sound and influences. “Galaktikon” tells the story of a super-human being experiencing human problems like heartbreak and emotional vulnerability. Songs like “Beastblade” and “Prophecy of the Lazer Witch” showcase Small’s sense of melody and ability to mix catchy vocals with complex rhythms and dynamic guitar arrangements. If you’re a fan of the show “Metalocalypse” or a fan of ripping galactic guitar riffs “Galaktikon” will not disappoint.
