Alberta Cross

Alberta cross is a New York based band, but they have a southern sound. Vocalist Petter Ericson Statue’s lyrics are very moving, and songs like “Mangnolia”, “Come on Maker”, have a spiritual feeling. Especially “Mangnolia”, because of the choir singing in the background. Then things take a turn, and pick up with songs like “Money For the weekend (Pocket full of shame)”. This song is surely to get stuck in ones head, and will pop up when pay checks are received. Alberta Cross is one band to keep an eye on, and will keep bringing in mellow tunes.
